The philosophy of our work is to provide members of our border community with the necessary tools to work together with authorities and build a better environment for the functional development of the individuals in society.
Chicano Art Collective is a non-profit organization structured in promoting access to culture through education and the creation of cultural platforms on the border of the United States and Mexico. This allows us to foster social and economic development in the region, implementing public policy management strategies that both countries offer their citizens to resolve the needs that arise in the community.
Mission:
Constitute a quality educational institution that serves as a source of knowledge for all people who wish to obtain training, qualification and professionalization in the different disciplines, arts, technical careers and professions that train the individual as a functional citizen to live balanced in the social environment to which it belongs.
- Organize academic, business and cultural events to promote local talent and economic development in the region through cultural platforms that promote healthy coexistence and social development in the community.
- Build business entrepreneurship platforms to stimulate the development of Cultural Industries on the border and contribute to the financial development of the region by creating networks of new entrepreneurs that activate the flow in community businesses, promoting economic growth on the border.
- Facilitate the integration of individuals into the social fabric of the border by implementing joint strategies with the governments and private initiatives of both countries through public policies created to resolve the needs of their citizens thus, creating platforms to study the sociocultural phenomena of rapid demographic growth in the region that faces the new challenges that arise from the migration phenomenon.
Vision:
Face demographic growth on the border community by creating functional strategies focused on implementing cultural promotion programs and serve as a platform to project local talents and new business projects; stimulating the emergence of new creators and entrepreneurs. Chicano Art Collective aims to promoting educational and labor resources targeted for generating peaceful and harmonious social development on the border.
